I would NOT be happy if I got a call next week and had to wait until late Friday when he gets home to look at it. I am now hoping and praying that the week of January 25th will be referral week!
I think this does mark the end of the road for waiting list updates though. I think we are just too close now to bother them with getting us numbers. It was fun though, kept things a little more exciting I think.
Switching gears, I really hope that you all will keep the situation in Haiti in your thoughts and prayers. The situation for the orphaned children there and the uncertainty that looms surrounding their adoptions is more than I think I could bear as a future adoptive parent. Many of these waiting families have no idea where their children are, if they are okay or if they will ever come home to America because of what's happened. Please pray our Government does something to get those children out of there swiftly.
