Yes! We heard from the agency.
Our homestudy caseworker called today and set up our first home study meeting! She also told us that she will be moving things along and the next 2 home study meetings and our educational class will all be completed in the next 2 weeks! Yahooooo!
Major things are starting! Major things are starting! Yippikiyokiyay!
So now we have to wait for our consultants to call us to give us the go-ahead to start our dossier apts and paperwork. However, this wait won't be so bad because we have stuff to do in the meantime. I'm so relieved, I needed to not let another day go by without us working on anything.
I've also started to think that I will add more stuff about our everyday life on here. The reason for that is when all the paperwork is done (which will hopefully be soon!) we will be waiting for numerous months, and there will be nothing happening, so I will need to do something to pass the time. So, I will write/show pics about life. Kinda like a continuation of Facebook I guess? Like I don't waste enough of my time on there, now I have this! LOL.
This weekend Mark and I are running in the Riverbank Run along with some friends and other family members. It's a 15 1/2 mile race, but I figure it's shorter than the marathon was, so if I can do that, than I can do this! So, in the spirit of getting motivated, here's my awesome supporters and myself after I crossed the finish line in October after those LONG 26.2 miles.
