So, what's been going on? Well, we are welcoming in Spring!
He's doing so much now that he is almost 16-months old. (I can't believe that!) He's talking a lot more. He's attempting to say many of the things that we ask him to and even says his own name now. It sounds more like "I-lie" but he does it! He is an amazing listner and understands practically everything we say, which is really awesome. His mind is such a sponge right now. He's absolutely OBSESSED with his Dada, that's for sure. I am so excited for this summer with him at the pool, the beach and with friends.
Also, Mark and I actually had some time "away" by ourselves in April. Actually a whole week! I know, I know, that's a long time away, but we really truly believe it is important for our marriage for us to have time away. Eli loves being with his Grandma too. We had an absolute BLAST, we went to Punta Cana, DR with some of our college friends and it was absolutely incredible. Here are a few pics:
I kinda see it as celebrating our 5-years of marriage which we will celebrate this June. It was an amazing week that I will never forget.
Other than that, we are just hanging out over here, getting ready to start the busy summer season and many household projects. Eli is being dedicated at Church next Sunday, so we are very excited to honor the amazing little boy God gave to us in such a special way.

(Please accept my apologies for the up-closeness of the video and the drool soaked shirt he's wearing, we were on the couch together after a long day at work and daycare and I hadn't cleaned him up yet. He's getting his back teeth right now.)
