Obviously I'm talking about the guy on the left. Since the guy on the right is pretty much the "Star" of this blog. I don't know if you know this, but my husband is absolutely fabulous. An amazing Father, husband and man of God. He left this morning to head to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Yep, the same place that is still completely devastated by the earthquake that hit there last January. They will be working on relief efforts, possibly some rebuilding and bringing the message of Hope to the people who are still living there in desperation. I would encourage you to watch for updates on their trip by "liking" this. You can also learn more about the organization our church is partnering with on this ongoing relief project here.I won't lie, I'm a tad bit nervous, but I do trust that God will take care of my husband and will bring him back to us safe and sound. We know what it is like to see extreme poverty since our trip to Ethiopia in the summer, but I truly can't imagine what Ethiopia would be like had it suffered the same type of catastrophic event, so I'm sure this is going to be a very overwhelming trip for him. For those of you who would like a glimpse of what is still happening in Haiti, check out this video:

So, what are the E-man and I going to do? Well, I still have to work a few days this week, but otherwise we are going to hang out with Grandma and Aunt Tara, Ky and Ty, and who knows what else? I'm going to see this as an opportunity to enjoy some "Mommy and Eli time".
Also - I'm working on a new "look" for the blog, so stay tuned!
