I think I probably owe ya'll another update, although I hate delivering such awful news time and time again.
We are essentially in another "stuck" point, with absolutely no way of knowing how to get out of it. Here's the most simple way I can describe it:
-To get a court date so we can travel and legalize Zoe as our daughter, we have been told we need a final federal signature from an organization called MOWA.
-MOWA says they will grant us this signature, as long as we provide another document from a service organization in the way they want it to read, not the way it is currently written.
-Service organization has said they will not rewrite anything, as they have given the court everything they have with regard to our case.
-MOWA continues to tell us in our court hearings that they are demanding said document written differently.
-Process repeats three times.
So, that's all I've got. I have no idea when we'll go, when this cycle will end and when my room will be ready in the Pine Rest Mental Health wing. (Sarcasm... kinda.)
Please pray. Pray that God intervenes and finds a way to move something so that Zoe's needs are put ahead of these ridiculous political games. Pray our caseworker in Ethiopia will find a way to stop this vicious cycle with a true resolution.
